Our recreational programs are for students who want to learn to dance and stay active. These classes are perfectly suited for students who love to move, have fun and socialize but can only commit to an hour or two of training each week. Students do not need previous dance experience to enrol in our performance programming and can begin taking classes at any age.
The performance program will teach students movement fundamentals and basic technique through fun, age-appropriate activities.
Our performance program classes are specifically geared towards children ages 5 - 18.
Each class is broken into levels;
Mini - Ages 5 - 7

Our jazz dance classes are a very strong technical based class which incorporates creativity, body and music awareness in an energetic and fun dance class. Tap classes include ADAPT exam content, tap vocabulary, history of tap dance, tap technique, barre work and across the floor and combinations. We emphasize the development of a dancer’s musicality through unique rhythmic patterns and increasing skill difficulty.
Hip Hop classes will focus on learning new and exciting styles of dance that are both current and fresh. Class will include choreography for competition,and we strongly encourage dancers to step outside their comfort zone and give this new class a try!
Acro is based on Acrobatic Arts acro technique. This class includes a full acro class and is recommended to develop flexibility and strength as well as “tricks” that are an advantage in the competitive world.
This style is founded on natural movement, creativity, expression, technique, dynamics, body awareness and the use of space. Students will explore modern dance movement through warm-ups, various exercises and combinations, as well as improvisations.
